Please call the school on 01636 688166 if you are thinking of moving your child to Mount Church of England Primary Academy. We can then arrange a visit and tour around our school with Ms Turner, Head Teacher or other member of our Senior Management Team, to talk about your child and how Mount Church of England Primary Academy will support their education and personal development.

Offer date is: 1st March 2025

Appeals received after these dates will be heard by the same deadlines if possible, if not, they will be heard within 30 school days.

Right to Appeal

Under the terms of the School Admissions Appeals Code 2021, if you apply for and are refused a place at Mount Church of England Academy, you have the right to appeal.

 

Admission Appeals at SNMAT academies are managed by Nottinghamshire County Council Appeals Team, who provide an independent appeals process.  If you decide that you wish to proceed with an appeal, you should within four weeks of the date of the refusal letter, complete the online form on Nottinghamshire County Council's website:-

Appeals at SNMAT academies will be heard by an Independent Appeals Panel in accordance with the School Admissions Code 2021, The School Admissions Appeals Code 2012 and Part 3 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998

For in-year admissions you should appeal within four weeks of the date of your refusal of the school place, where ever possible. The appeal will then be heard within 30 school days,
