Child Code of Conduct
Purpose and Scope
This code of conduct sets out the expectations and standards of behaviour for all pupils at Mount CofE Primary School. By following this code, you will help to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where everyone can learn and grow.

As a pupil at our school, you are expected to:

Professional Conduct
As a pupil at Mount CofE Primary School, you are expected to:
- Arrive at school on time, ready to learn, and with the necessary equipment and resources.
- Attend school regularly and avoid unnecessary absences.
- Follow the school's rules and procedures, including those related to behaviour, uniform, and safety.
- Use appropriate and respectful language at all times, and avoid using offensive or inappropriate words.
- Refrain from any behaviour that could be considered bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
- Respect the school's property and equipment, and use them responsibly and with care.
Relationships with other Students
At Mount CofE Primary School, we believe in fostering positive and supportive relationships between all members of our school community. As a pupil, you are expected to:

- Treat all school staff, including teachers, support staff, and administrators, with respect and courtesy.
- Follow the instructions and directions of the school staff, and be willing to cooperate with them.
- Refrain from any behaviour that could be seen as disruptive or disrespectful towards the school staff.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
At Mount CofE Primary School, we take the privacy and security of personal information very seriously. As a pupil, you are expected to:
- Respect the confidentiality of any personal information you may have access to, and not share it with others without permission.
- Use any school-provided digital devices or platforms responsibly and in accordance with the school's policies on data protection and acceptable use.
Health and Safety
Ensuring the health and safety of all members of our school community is of the utmost importance. As a pupil, you are expected to:
- Follow all safety rules and procedures, both in the classroom and around the school.
- Report any hazards or safety concerns to your teachers or other school staff immediately.
- Behave in a way that does not endanger yourself or others, and avoid any reckless or dangerous activities.
Use of School Resources
