SEND and Local Offer

Vision for our SEND provision

At Mount CofE Primary School, we are a flourishing and highly inclusive academy where every pupil shines brightly in God's glory. Our vibrant community nurtures the unique gifts and talents of each child, empowering them to reach their true potential and soar beyond the limits of their dreams.

Guided by our cherished Christian values of Caring, Hope, Understanding, Respect, Co-operation, and Happiness, we cultivate an environment that nurtures the whole child, celebrates diversity, fosters a deep sense of belonging, and inspires a lifelong love of learning. SEND provision is a priority and we work hard to ensure that the needs of all learners are carefully met through tailored packages of support that are reviewed regularly and in consultation with our families.  Together, we are committed to unlocking the extraordinary potential within every pupil, regardless of ability, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and character to make a positive impact on the world.

Embracing our role as a community hub, we are dedicated to forging strong partnerships with families and the local area, ensuring that each child's journey is one of joyful discovery, academic achievement, and spiritual growth. Through this collaborative approach, we will continue to grow and thrive, becoming a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together in God's name.

Pupils with SEND are not disadvantaged in terms of admission to our school. School work collaboratively with parents to ensure all individual needs are met.

If a child has an EHCP, a consultation process between school, ICDS and parents will take place to determine whether our school is the most suitable setting to meet all of the child's needs.
